Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you use Vatis, we collect:

Account info — your email and password (encrypted)
Profile info — your name and birth date (used to generate your reading)
Reading history — readings you've received, themes you've chosen, your streak
Compatibility data — names and birth dates you enter for compat readings
Usage data — when you open the app, which features you use
Device info — basic technical info about your browser/device for the app to function
Payment info — handled entirely by Stripe; we never see your card details

We don't track your location, scan your contacts, read your messages, or share your data with advertisers. We don't sell your data. Ever.

To generate your personalized oracle readings (your birth date is sent to Anthropic's Claude API as part of the prompt)
To track your streak and remember your preferences
To send you daily reading reminders if you opted in
To process subscription payments through Stripe
To improve the app based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns

We use these third-party services to run Vatis:

Supabase — secure database hosting
Anthropic — AI model that generates your readings (your birth date and theme are sent; no name, no email)
Stripe — payment processing
Vercel — app hosting

Each is bound by their own privacy policies and industry-standard data protection.

You can at any time:

Edit your name, email, or password from Settings
Export your reading history (email us)
Delete your account permanently from Settings — this removes everything within 30 days

Vatis is for users 13 and older. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger.

We use cookies only for authentication. No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics that follow you around the web.

If we update this policy, we'll notify you in the app before changes take effect.
